Mission
Educate citizens and government officials about pragmatic, non-partisan affordable
energy solutions, Environmental Protection, energy alternatives, efficiency, infrastructure,
public policy, competitiveness, social cohesion, and quality of life.
Approach
Direct engagement of citizens and leaders across the country by using: memberships,
in-person classes, seminars, panels, town halls, speeches, advertising, promotions,
networking, and web- enabled communications to deliver an environmentally conscious
national energy security plan for the short, medium and long term benefit of the
nation.
2011 Vision
- Substantially impact citizens and government officials
understanding and appreciation of the importance and complexity of affordable energy
and Environmental Protection over the short, medium and long term future of the
nation
- Express the impact of the development and implementation
of sound non-partisan public policy initiatives covering the “Four Mores” of Citizens
for Affordable Energy
- Establish two recognizable characteristics of
the public policy choices made for the nation, viz., the levels of bi-partisan support
and the pragmatism e.g. the do-ability of the solutions
- Expand the reach of Citizens for Affordable Energy
across the nation both in State and Local Chapters and subsequently beyond the borders
of the United States
